A project that had already stalled

Lameire is a Belgian estate agency. They keep their properties in Whise, the CRM most of the Belgian market runs on, and they wanted a Webflow site that shows exactly what the CRM holds — listings appearing, changing and disappearing on the website because they did so in Whise, with nobody re-typing a property into a second system.

They had a developer on it. The integration was not working, and it was not going to.

Getting it working

We took the project over and made the connection do what it was supposed to do: properties in Whise, on the website, without a parallel content system to keep in step.

Why this one is worth reading

Two things make it a useful reference rather than just another property site.

The first is that it was a rescue. Taking over a build somebody else could not finish is a different job from starting one: the decisions are already made, the reasoning behind them is gone, and the client has already spent their patience once. The work is as much diagnosis as construction.

The second is that the difficulty was never Webflow. It was the integration — someone else's API, someone else's data model, and a business that cannot afford the website to disagree with the CRM. That is the same problem in every industry; estate agency is just where this one happened to live.
